Constructed in 1896, the Historic Highlandlake Church is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and is the last remaining public building in what was once a thriving village about a mile northwest of Mead. 99% of the building is original to 1896, including most of the furnishings. Donations to the help maintain and preserve this piece of Colorado History for generations.
